3D HUD

Pick your hologram.

The centre of the home screen shows an animated 3D model. Switch it in Settings → Appearance or double-click it. Move over the preview to tilt it.

Make your own model

Models are plain .obj files in assets/models/. Drop yours there and it appears after a restart. Layers are OBJ groups named kind:key=value,...

Kinds: lines points faces sparks pulse

  • w width · a opacity · mix colour blend (0 main, 1 accent)
  • spin rotation speed (negative = reverse) · tilt · scale
  • amp grows with voice · blink · add glow blending
  • lite=0 hides the layer in lightweight mode
  • File options: #@hud 1 #@glow 1 #@rim 1 #@palette gold
  • Built-ins are generated by python tools/make_models.py

How to install

Up and running in minutes.

Four simple steps from download to your first “Hey Jarvis”.

Download

Open Releases and get Jarvis-Windows-x64-v*.zip (or the APK).

Extract & Run

Unzip the folder and launch Jarvis.exe.

API key

Enter your Gemini API key on first launch.

Phone (optional)

Install the APK, connect with PC IP + pairing key.

Windows SmartScreen (unsigned build)? More info → Run anyway.

Prefer Python source?

Install dependencies, then start the app:

python setup.py
python main.py

Add your Gemini key when asked, or place it in config/api_keys.json.

Self-update

“check for updates”“update Jarvis”“undo the update”“restart Jarvis”
  • Your config, memory, plugins and JSON data are never overwritten or deleted.
  • A backup is made before every update (last 3 kept), so you can roll back.
  • A quiet check runs every 12 hours — Settings → About can turn it off.
  • The packaged EXE can’t patch itself, so it opens the release page.

Phone connection

Your PC, in your pocket.

Native Android app plus a web companion — no ADB required. Same Wi-Fi needed. The admin dashboard controls the PC remotely with a pairing key or from the browser.

Option A · Android APK (recommended)

  1. Install the APK (allow unknown sources if needed).
  2. On first open, allow notifications, files, location, mic and camera.
  3. Start Jarvis on the PC and get a fresh pairing key (Remote Control / Dashboard).
  4. In the app enter PC IP + key → Connect.
  5. Status shows ● ONLINE and a persistent “Jarvis Connected” notification.

Use http (not https) unless you configured certificates.

  • 💬Chat, attach files and send voice to the PC (on-device speech recognition)
  • 🔔Read notifications and share location (grant the permissions)
  • 🔒PC lock / shutdown buttons, auto-reconnect and a background link
Troubleshooting
  • Test on the PC: http://127.0.0.1:8000/jarvis-app
  • Allow port 8000 in Windows Firewall.
  • Use the same Wi-Fi (no guest isolation).
  • ADB is optional — the main path is the Jarvis App reverse WebSocket.
  • Set Jarvis App battery to Unrestricted so the background link stays alive.
